Lace manufacturer in China, built on LFT’s own lace and jacquard.

Almost every factory in this niche buys its lace from a trading book. We sit downstream of LFT, a group that designs and knits its own lace and jacquard patterns on its own looms, then we build the structure underneath it and finish the piece.

Three lace constructions laid out together: a sage lace bralette, a maroon lace brief and a black lace bodysuit, with lace swatches and trim

Ohzehn Textiles builds lace lingerie for brands from its mill in Fuzhou, China, on lace and jacquard designed and knitted by LFT (Luen Fung Textiles), the group we sit downstream of: lace sets, lace bralettes, lace bodysuits, teddies, camisoles, slips and bridal lingerie. We build the tricot and powernet structure underneath the lace and finish on bonded and coverstitch machines. Every batch is tested for BPA, PFAS, phthalates, heavy metals, formaldehyde and azo dyes.

02 · Why lace is different here

Most factories buy lace. Our group designs it.

Lace in this industry is usually a catalogue product: a factory picks a pattern out of a trading company's book, the same book every other factory is picking from. LFT, the Fuzhou warp-knitting group we sit downstream of, runs its own pattern studio, where an R&D team designs lace and jacquard patterns on CAD before a machine runs, then knits, dyes and finishes the fabric on its own floor.

That means a lace bralette or a lace set built through us is not working from the same pattern book as the factory next door. Whether a specific pattern can be built to your own sketch is a sourcing-team call, not a blanket promise, but the design capability sits one step away rather than three.

04 · Structure underneath the lace

Lace looks like the garment. Tricot and powernet hold it up.

Lace alone has almost no recovery, so every lace garment we build sits over a structural layer, usually tricot or powernet, bonded at the edge so the seam does not show through. The lining decides the support and the opacity; the lace on top decides the look. Get the lining wrong and the lace stretches out of shape by the second wear, no matter how good the pattern is.

A reference garment or tech pack tells us the support level you are selling against, and we build the lining to hold it.

Every batch is tested for BPA, PFAS, phthalates, heavy metals, formaldehyde and azo dyes, in an on-site lab the group part-owns. PFAS-free chemistry, no fluorinated DWR.

Our mill holds OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Product Class I. Class I is the strictest product class, the one used for babies’ and toddlers’ articles. The certificate belongs to the mill, and we do not stretch it over anything the mill does not hold it for.

Big enough to hold those programs. Small enough to take yours.

Our mill supplies fabric to garment manufacturers producing for brands including Skims, Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Your first order can run on fabric from the same floor.

Fabric from our mill has gone into garments for these brands, directly and through the garment makers who sew for them. Marks belong to their owners.

08 · Minimums on lace

Lace carries its own minimum, separate from the lining.

A lace pattern runs its own knitting minimum, set by the loom and the dye lot, and the tricot or powernet lining underneath carries its own. A lace garment can clear the lining minimum and miss the lace minimum, or the other way round. We quote against your style on a call and tell you which one binds your order.

11 · FAQ

Questions about lace.

Do you make lace lingerie?

Yes. The LFT group we sit downstream of designs, knits, dyes and finishes its own fabrics, including wide lace, lace fabric and jacquard, used in women's underwear, bras, evening wear and fashion. LFT designs its own lace and jacquard patterns. We build the lingerie around the lace with tricot and powernet for structure.

Can you commission a custom lace pattern?

LFT designs its own lace and jacquard patterns on CAD before a machine runs. Whether a specific custom commission is possible for your brand is a sourcing-team question, not a standing offer, so send your reference or sketch and we will tell you on a call what the group can do with it.

Do you make lace bodysuits?

Yes. Lace bodysuits, teddies, camisoles and slips run on the same tricot and powernet structure as a lace bralette, built as one piece with bonded seams where the lace meets the lining. Send a reference garment and we quote the construction against it.

Can you build bridal lingerie?

Yes. Bridal lingerie uses the same lace and jacquard base, typically in a lighter hand and a paler colourway, with bonded or coverstitch seams depending on the style. Tell us the piece and the occasion and we build the spec around it.
