Underwear manufacturer in China, from briefs to seamless boyshorts.

Underwear sits against skin longer than almost anything else a brand sells, so the gusset, the elastic and the seam placement all have to hold past the first wash. We knit the fabric, decide seamless or cut-and-sew with you, and build the piece.

Ohzehn Textiles makes underwear for brands from its mill in Fuzhou, China: briefs, high-waist briefs, bikini briefs, hipsters, boyshorts, cheekies, thongs and g-strings. We knit tricot, jersey and mesh, and finish on flatlock, bonded, coverstitch and seamless machines. Every batch is tested for BPA, PFAS, phthalates, heavy metals, formaldehyde and azo dyes.
Briefs, high-waist, bikini briefs, hipsters and boyshorts.
Cut, rise and trims are set against your tech pack or a reference garment, then quoted on a call.

Thongs and g-strings: the same fabric, cut narrower.

Thongs and g-strings run on the same tricot, jersey and mesh as a brief, with the back panel cut down to a narrow strap and flatlock or coverstitch seams at the edge. Elastic width and the front panel's lining are set against your reference piece, since this is where the construction question is really about trims, not fabric.
Knitted as a tube, or cut from flat fabric.

Cut-and-sew underwear is cut from flat fabric panels and sewn with flatlock, bonded or coverstitch seams, including a separate gusset piece at the crotch. This gives more freedom in the pattern, which is why most high-waist and boyshort fits run this way.
Seamless knits the whole garment as one tube on a single machine, with the gusset zone knitted in rather than added as a panel. No side seam means nothing to show through a legging or rub during the day, at the cost of less pattern flexibility than cut-and-sew gives you.
Tricot, jersey, mesh, and the elastic that holds it.

Underwear runs mostly on tricot, jersey and mesh, chosen for hand-feel against skin rather than for stretch alone. Elastic width, lace trim and the waistband finish are set against your reference piece or tech pack, since these are the details a buyer notices on the second wear, not the first.

Our mill holds OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Product Class I. Class I is the strictest product class, the one used for babies' and toddlers' articles. The certificate belongs to the mill, and we do not stretch it over anything the mill does not hold it for.

Fabric and sewing each carry their own minimum.

A tricot or a mesh carries a fabric minimum set by the knitting and dye run, per colourway. The sewing side carries its own, per style and colour. An underwear range across several colours can clear one minimum and miss another. We quote against your range on a call and tell you which one binds your order.

Questions about underwear.
Can you make seamless underwear?
Yes. We knit on seamless machines, which build the garment as a tube with no side seams. Seamless suits underwear, bras and shapewear where a seam would show or rub. Tell us the garment and where it needs to hold, and we will tell you whether seamless or cut-and-sew does the job better.
Do you make thongs and g-strings?
Yes. Thongs and g-strings run on the same tricot, jersey and mesh as a brief, cut narrower at the back, with flatlock or coverstitch seams. Trims and elastic width are set against your reference piece on the first call.
What's the difference between seamless and cut-and-sew for underwear?
Cut-and-sew underwear is cut from flat panels and sewn with flatlock, bonded or coverstitch seams, which gives more pattern freedom for a high-waist or a boyshort fit. Seamless knits the whole garment as a tube on one machine, so there is no side seam to show or rub, at the cost of less pattern flexibility. We tell you which one suits your style once we see a reference piece.
Can you match an existing style?
Yes. Send the reference garment or a tech pack and we build the fit, trims and construction against it. Request a sample to see it on fabric before you commit to anything larger.
